Yutong bus introduction

Since 2005, Yutong has experienced twelve years in overseas markets and achieved outstanding success. In 2017, Yutong has exported  8712 buses, with an increase of 22.34%. Yutong has been the NO.1 with the largest sales volume in the past seven years, also the biggest bus export company over the world.

Till now, Yutong has formed a six-region development layout in Europe, America, Middle East, Asia Pacific, Latin America, the Commonwealth of Independent States, and Africa, covering more than 120 countries and regions.

In areas along the “One Belt and One Road” area, Yutong has also exported to more than 40 countries, and in Burma, Pakistan, Iran and Cuba, the local assembly and production capacity and technology of passenger car parts have been realized.

Chang Hao, deputy general manager of overseas marketing at Yutong, introduced that in overseas markets, Yutong has achieved an overall market share of over 10% in some regional markets. In Yugoslavia and Cuba, Venezuela and other markets, Yutong has become the most important bus supplier. For the update bus in the past two years, Yutong is in an absolute leading position with a market share of more than 90%.

In 2005, the actual customs clearance of Yutong  reached 1,292 units and the transaction volume reached 80 million US dollars.

In 2006, Yutong was named the National Automobile Export Base.

In 2007, Yutong exported 5,348 buses to Cuba with a total value of 370 million U.S. dollars, setting a maximum order for China’s bus exports.

In February 2009, Yutong Group signed 175 bus supply contracts with Kuwaiti "citybus" with a total value of more than 100 million yuan.

In October 2011, Yuxiang Tang, chairman of Yutong Group, won the "BusBuilder" award at the 21st Belgian Bus Show.

In November, 2011, Yutong International’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Hong Kong Yutong International Co., Ltd., and FONTUR, a subsidiary of the ministry of transport and communications of venezuela, signed sales contracts of 1.46 billion yuan worth of 1,216 passenger buses and ancillary facilities.

In 2011, yutong was awarded the 2012 Busbuilder of the YearWorldwide2012 by the BAAV.

In August 2012, King Norodom Sihamoni of Cambodia visited Yutong industrial park.

In November 2014, the "China Export Leading Index Sample Enterprise" ceremony was held in Zhengzhou Customs, Henan. After a comprehensive assessment, Yutong was successfully selected as a "China Export Leading Index Sample Enterprise”.

Since 2010, Yutong Bus has been awarded by the BAAV for many years as the best passenger bus manufacturer of the year, the best innovation passenger bus of the year, the best passenger bus safety equipment of the year, the best environmental protection bus of the year, the best passenger car of the year, etc.
