Yutong is also the only bus company that has signed a cooperation with Huawei in the field of automatic driving. At present, the cooperation between the two parties has made progress: the Yutong self-driving passenger car based on Huawei's original MDC computing platform has been successfully operated in Yutong Industrial Park. Peng Nengling said: "Next, Yutong will cooperate with Huawei to continue to deepen the R&D and application of passenger car autopilot computing platform, and hopes to join hands with the industry to build a new industry ecosystem and establish a new industrial structure."

The computing platform is an automatic driving data processing center, which is equivalent to the "brain" of the vehicle. It mainly deals with a large amount of high-speed data of intelligent networked vehicles, applies various new technologies to realize the environmental awareness, decision-making planning control, and completes intelligent networked vehicles by autopilot operation.

As the first passenger bus manufacturer to deploy autonomous driving and continue to invest in research and development, Yutong's self-developed self-driving bus has already had the L4 level of automatic driving capability, which has reached a high level in terms of perception, command decision, and control execution.
