Yutong bus started at the assembly plant in Russia

    According to Russian satellite news agency sputniknews, the Russian government of Kemerovo said that the first industrial assembly plant of the famous Yutong bus in Kuzbas was launched on December 25.

    The operation of the workshop begins with the assembly of the Yutong County ZK6729 bus, and the vehicle kit and its accessories will be supplied by China. The new plant has an investment of about 400 million rubles ($5.8 million) and produces 2,000 passenger cars a year. It is also planned to produce electric buses in the future.

    The Kemerovo State Government hopes that the cooperation between KUZBASsAuto ("Kuzbass Motors") and Yutong will ensure a safe and affordable Russian assembly bus for the Russian market.

    After meeting with representatives of the Chinese company, Zverev said: "We will have more important joint work in the future. We see broad prospects in this regard." He said that the state government also plans to visit Yutong's factory in China.
