Yutong's export to Central Asia

    With the continuous promotion of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, China’s cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and even Central Asia is deepening and involves economic, cultural and transportation fields.     Among them, in Turkmenistan, Yutong has exported 220 passenger cars, becoming the Chinese bus brand exported to the country in the past three years. In Kazakhstan, as of January 2019, Yutong has sold more than 1,900 large and medium-sized passenger cars, including more than 700 Yutong 12-meter natural gas low-entry buses tailored for Almaty, which became the earliest purchase of the Commonwealth of Independent States.     In Uzbekistan, as of February 2019, Yutong has exported more than 300 passenger cars, accounting for more than 50% of China's passenger car brands. Among them, in 2018, Yutong Bus won the bid for 168 ZK6122H9 orders from Uzbekistan, which became a large-volume purchase order in the country. The procurement fund for the project was earmarked for CDB and was loaned to customers for Ukrainian foreign banks. Therefore, the project has also become a typical case under the “One Road, One Belt” initiative.

    This is only a microcosm of Yutong's overseas market.
