Yutong sold 25,000 buses in the first half of the year

    Yutong recently showed its first-half transcripts: cumulative sales of 25,000 passenger cars from January to June this year, an increase of 13.52%.

    

    On July 4, Zhengzhou Yutong Bus Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Yutong”) released the June 2018 production and sales data bulletin. Express reported that in June 2018, Yutong sold 4020 passenger cars of various types, down 22.84% year-on-year; from January to June this year, Yutong sold a total of 24,780 passenger cars, an increase of 13.52% over the same period of 2017.

    In terms of sales of segmented models, Yutong sold 1965 large passenger cars in June 2018, down 7.09% year-on-year; sold 1,457 medium-sized buses, down 42.71% year-on-year; and sold 598 light buses, up 8.33% year-on-year.

    From January to June, Yutong sold a total of 10,433 large passenger cars, a year-on-year increase of 19.32%; cumulative sales of medium-sized passenger cars reached 10,656 units, an increase of 7.13%; cumulative sales of light-duty buses of 3,691 units, an increase of 17.66%.

    Judging from the cumulative sales share of the segmented models, the sales share of Yutong's medium-sized passenger buses has exceeded that of large buses. Specifically, in the first half of the year, large passenger bus sales accounted for 42.1%; medium-sized passenger buses accounted for 43%; light passenger buses accounted for 14.9%.
